Ecommerce Web Site Design
In
2003, there were $75 billion in ecommerce sales! To tap into that market,
a business needs a professional ecommerce web site. We work with a variety
of shopping cart software programs to ensure that your products are sold
securely over the Internet. Some of these software packages include Mal's
Ecommerce, Cart32, OptionCart, the PayPal Shopping Cart, and osCommerce.
When customized, each will give you a fully functional, high quality catalog
and shopping cart site. Some even feature inventory control, affiliate tracking,
wholesale and retail ordering, site registration before purchases, and banner
ad management to feature ads within the online product catalog.
In addition to having an effective way to showcase the products on your
web site, you also need a reliable payment processor. The majority of online
payments are made with credit cards. In order to process these payments
you will need a merchant account through your bank. For those without a
merchant account, we recommend a third party processor, such as PayPal.
Inspired Graphics Media uses PayPal to invoice all customers who prefer
to pay with credit cards, and we have found it to be very reliable. Click
on the PayPal
logo below to learn more about their credit card processing services.
We have listed screenshots of some of our e-commerce web site design clients below:
Herbolistic
Home Spa is a Chicago-based retailer of Bath and Body products. The
owner wanted a relaxing web site design as well as a robust shopping cart
that featured inventory control, online administration, and a variety of
payment processing options that could be integrated into the cart. Inspired
Graphics Media used Cart32 for this e-commerce site. After implementing
Cart32, Herbolistic Home Spa started receiving orders from as far away as
Hawaii.
No
More Stolen Elections is a satirical e-commerce web site offering chocolate
products as a solution to "political ills." Some of the most popular
products include Chocolate Aspirin and a Chocolate Stress Relief Doll. This
company wanted a simple shopping cart that would integrate directly into
its payment processor. We implemented the PayPal Shopping Cart and used
PayPal
exclusively as the payment processor.
Anointed
Beaded People & Things featured beaded people products. These items
were perfect for holiday decorations and keychains. The company wanted a
comprehensive shopping cart system for its 100+ products. The owner also
wanted to be able to maintain her e-commerce web site once Inspired Graphics
Media finished designing it. We used osCommerce for its inventory control,
site registration, and ease of product additions and modifications.
